about me

I've always been a firm believer in authenticity, both in life and in my work. This means capturing the raw, unscripted moments in my photography, the ones that truly speak to the essence of the subject, whether it's a person, a place, or a simple object that caught my eye.

My journey with photography began when I was in High School and accompanied me through my travels to locations in Australia, Canada, France, and Japan. Through my lens, I discovered a world brimming with colour, emotions, and an unexpected beauty that seemed to lurk in the most ordinary places. Over time, this love for capturing the extraordinary in the everyday evolved into more than just a pastime, it became my passion and my profession.

Today, I continue to explore the world around me, albeit closer to home. My neighbourhood has become my canvas, and I find myself frequently embarking on walkabouts, camera in hand, ready to capture the magic that unfolds in the most mundane moments.

My style of photography is a blend of natural light and spontaneous composition. I don't believe in artificial setups or contrived poses. Instead, I aim for a more organic approach, allowing the people or places I'm shooting to reveal their true selves. It's a dance between my lens and the subject, a delicate balance of revealing and concealing that results in images that are as true to life as possible.

Whether it's capturing the subtle interplay of light and shadow on a landscape, or the myriad of emotions displayed on a person's face, each photograph I take is an invitation. An invitation to explore, to appreciate, and to marvel at the world's diversity.

That's a glimpse into my philosophy and style. But this page is also about my story, about the journey that led me here. I invite you to join me as I continue to uncover the extraordinary in the everyday, one photograph at a time.
